From idea to reality:
Meet the founders
While cleaning out her late mother’s closet, it didn’t feel right to Anna Maria to simply donate the clothes. They still had so much life in them, and the memories and stories behind each garment were resonating deeply. Together with her sister-in-law, she came up with the idea of redesigning her mother’s clothes. They embarked on this journey together, and from that, the idea for an eco-conscious, sustainable brand was born—named after her mother, Delia.
And so, the brand was established—but the duo had even more sustainability-driven ideas in mind. With their newly acquired sewing skills, they wanted to show others just how easy it is to transform a simple piece of fabric into a beautiful garment. What began as the creation of a sustainable brand has now grown into a thriving community where sustainability and fashion come together, uniting like-minded individuals.

Hey, I’m Miguel! I’m the one hunting down the best secondhand fabrics and materials for Delia’s creations. Whether it’s vintage denim or a forgotten floral print, I love finding hidden gems that can be turned into something amazing. Fun fact: I can spot quality fabric from a mile away!

Hi, I’m Emily, and I make sure Delia’s story gets told! From social media to our newsletter, I connect with our amazing community and spread the word about sustainable fashion. I love sharing behind-the-scenes moments, styling tips, and all things upcycling. If you ever DM us—there’s a good chance it’s me replying!
Laura - designer
Hi, I’m Laura, the fashion designer here at Delia! I bring new life to old fabrics by transforming them into fresh, stylish pieces. My favorite fabric to work with is cotton—it’s so versatile and perfect for upcycling! When I’m not at the sewing machine, you’ll find me thrifting for inspiration or sketching new designs over a cup of coffee
